That's when I realized - hello! - it's Paris. It probably doesn't need a whole lot of blahbity-bah from me.
{our cozy digs and lovely view}
{in the marais, near our place - centre de georges pompidous, hotel de ville, place des vosges}
{a day at versailles}
{montmarte in the morning}
{arc de triomphe, champs elysees and macarons}
{art in the afternoon - louvre, louvre gardens and musee d'orsay}
{notre dame and the latin quarter}
{along the seine}
{tour de eiffel}
{au revoir.}

Oh I love Paris.
Wow, beautiful pictures.
I concur with Marci:
I love Paris. (how can you not?)
bien fait!
It's a sin to envy however..it doesn't stop me. This trip looked amazing! I hope you had the time of your life :)
looks like perfect weather!! I love the artsie fartsie pictures--like the one of the tower with noah's legs. And I completely missed those big silver balls (and throwing them into the pond). Guess I'll have to go back!!
Amazing!!! Wow! I am a little bit envious! Thanks for sharing such amazing photos of your trip!

Ooh, what fun pictures! I liked the shot of the locks on the fence, Noah's feet and the Eiffel, and lots of other great shots! Beautiful apartment!
i don't know if i can handle any more travel logs from you guys. it is too much for my great desire to see the world to bear. don't you guys ever work? and why do you have so much time off?
i can't completely complain. i do get to go places, but you go where i dream of going. just start your family already so i won't feel so jealous of your escapades.
have fun in utah over the holiday!
Hi Allison, I've commented on your blog before but it's been a really long time. I'm also LDS and live in the city, but I'm not sure how I came across your blog. I'm single and live on the UWS, but for three years lived in the financial district, near where I think you and your husband live. (I know that probably sounds creepy, but when you posted about your new place I think I recognized it as a building I almost moved into.)
Anyway, I'm going to London on Friday to visit a friend for a few days, and then taking the train to Paris for a solo trip for a few more days. (Eeeek! But so excited.0
If you have any suggestions of your favorite things you guys did or a great place to stay I would love to hear them. I know it's super annoying when people ask me, "What should I do in NY?" It's like, there's a million things to do.....read a travel book! So no pressure if you don't feel up to it. But if you have just a couple of your favorite things (from either city, really) I'd love to hear them! My email is raehope1 AT gmail DOT com.
I went back to your London post after I booked my ticket because I remembered thinking it sounded like you had a really fun trip. I really wanted to do the Jack the Ripper walking tour but they won't be doing it the dates I'm there. :(
Hope you guys had a great Christmas.
