I just woke up from a nap with the theme song to Charles in Charge stuck in my head. What was I dreaming about? Even more unsettling... since when do I know EVERY word to that song?
Well... you probably had that in your head because he's not only in charge of your days and your nights, but he is in charge of your wrongs AND your rights. MAN! That guy is BUSY.
It is pretty creepy when you think about the whole premise of this show...it even says it in the theme. He's the new boy in the neighborhood, who lives downstairs. What if the guy was an axe murderer? Sounds like the parents got tired of raising the kids and just turned everything over to poor old Charles...and Buddy. All I know is that I want Charles in charge of me...wait, that sounds really bad. I loved the show (with the Powell family,) but if it was based on true events, all I can say is WTF?

That is really funny and a little random. Now you've got me singing that song in my head, too!
Claire - for REAL! It was actually the "wrongs and the rights" line that made me stop and think, "honestly? he was in charge of THAT?"
